CAMPUS Ministry

Chong Lee Yin works closely with the SP Navigators co-labourers in evangelizing the students and establishing the faith of the young believers in SP ministry.

Chia Meow Hah is serving with the Navigators in the NTU ministry. The ministry seeks to evangelize the lost, disciple young believers and raise laborers for the harvest field through various activities such as visitation, freshmen orientation camps, IBS, training camps, sports, Bible Studies and one-to-one meetings.

How you can serve

  • Help up in our activities - come down to SP to serve the students or help us to prepare food while we are having activities.
  • For our church youth, those who study in SP could consider joining us or helping us to organize activities and reach out to SP students through friendship or 'cold turkey' evangelism.

CARE Ministry

In January 2006, Wendy Lee and Jenny Low started the Care Minstry to reach out to the elderly. The focus is on relationship building through home and hospital visitations. They also organize day trips to farms, factories, picnics, high tea, seafood dinner, karaoke sessions, health talks, camps for the elderly members, cruises, etc. (view activities photo)

How you can serve

  • Visit the elderly and minister to them.
  • Participate and assist in the organized activities.

OUTREACH Ministry

Conduct investigative bible studies and to provide appropriate follow-up for new believers.

How you can serve

  • Conduct IBS to interested individuals.
  • Follow up and disciple new Christians on a one- to- one basis.
  • Be a mentor to young Christians.

OVERSEA Missions

THAILAND

Khaw Chun Kiat heads Lydia House which ministers to poor rural job-seekers who come to the city to seek employment. Free food and accommodation are given and preaching & counseling take place nightly. Chun Kiat also recruits suitable people for skill development, finds resources for this program and helps connect them to stable jobs thereafter. Also important are follow up and mentoring them into developing spiritual and disciplined lifestyles. He travels to and networks with provincial churches to expand this ministry.

Noreen is part-time lecturer at Thailand Baptist Theological Seminary. She serves in both Christ Church and Evangelical Church of Bangkok by teaching, discipling and playing the piano. She also trains Thai piano students to help fulfill the big need for competent pianists in Thai churches.

Opportunities for Service

  • Short-term mission trips to experience and reach out to both urban and rural Thailand
  • Give support through prayer and finances


HONG KONG

Jessie Chua is in the ministry to help immigrant children and youths in HK. She is involved in planning programs, teaching and training the youths in the Naomi Fellowship, Daniel Fellowship and Abraham Fellowship. In addition there is a Ladies Fellowship that she and her co-worker are reaching out to.

Opportunities for Service

  • Go on short-term field visit and organize outreach activities for students from P5 to JC.
  • Participate in the Annual Summer English Adventure Programme to reach out to students from P6 to S5. The duration or involvement is one to two weeks .
  • Provide prayers and financial support.
